Lincoln County Pedestrian Injured

On Wednesday night, a pedestrian was struck and injured in Lincoln County. According to WJTV News Channel 12, the incident happened on Highway 51 near Argyel Trail. For currently unknown reasons, a Nissan Maxima struck 37-year-old Amber Ard. She was swiftly transported to UMC for treatment of serious injuries. The driver of the Maxima did not report any injuries, and there are very few details on how this collision could have happened.

No Word on Pedestrian's Current Condition

There's no word on the pedestrian's current condition or the extent of her injuries. No information was released on whether or not the driver was cited in this incident either. This crash is likely still under investigation with the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
